Here is Moppet "jump hour" watch by E. Gluck Trading Company. Moppet goes with Skippy on my 1970's P-Z blog and is similar to Raggedy Ann and Andy. Red headed smiling Moppet looks like she's dancing in her usual blue and white summer dress with white pantaloons, red socks and black shoes all while she's holding a huge flower on a white background with the time display to the far left, the hours are white numbers on red background while the minutes are white numbers with black background. Marked Swiss made.
Q&Q produced this Jimmy Pendolix for the Japanese market who i couldn't find any information about. These two penguins, both holding tennis racquets look surprised, one with a Santa hat and one with a hard hat both dressed nicely in a large red bow tie on a blue background with black numbers, white hands and a red second hand to tell the time. Marked EC project Q&Q, Presented by JP Co. LTD. Hard to find today.Pink Panther by an unknown maker for United Artists has the Panther looking smug with a blue hat and long cigarette holder on a light green background with black numbers. I've also seen the same on a white background. Marked Swiss made MCMLXIV United Artists, Geoffrey DFE.
In 1979, Q&Q of Japan, for the Japanese market produced this Pink Panther with a black top hat trimmed in red, a purple bow tie and a red walking stick on a white background with red numbers, red minute marks, black hands and a red second hand to tell the time. Marked Q&Q 1979, UAC Geoffrey, All rights reserved.
Pippi Longstockings by unknown maker for G.G. Communications (film distributor). Here is the ever smiling red headed Pippi dressed in a green dress with two front pockets and with her monkey friend Mr. Nilsson whose head moves to tick off the seconds all on a white background, black numbers and her arms to tell the time. Marked 1974 Swiss made. An amazing watch and a scarce find today.
